⁣On September 23rd, I had the honor of speaking at the UNGA80 event with the @spotlightinitiative, in front of world leaders, the United Nations, the European Union, and the African Union.

I spoke about the urgent need for stronger global digital protections. Here in the U.S., current laws still allow harmful and abusive content to be uploaded first, and only removed after the damage has already been done. That isn’t justice — it’s trauma, exploitation, and failure at a systemic level.

Why do we continue to pass laws that allow the exploitation of women and children to be uploaded in the first place? How can anyone consider that progress?

My purpose at the United Nations was not only to raise awareness but to push for real global solutions. The PROTECT Act is one of those solutions, and it is urgently needed everywhere.

As the founder of the #protectact and @foundationra, I know this is not just a U.S. problem — it is a global crisis. And I won’t stop working until we build a safer digital future for everyone.
